
A robotics and engineering center has been launched in Tashkent’s Mirobod district, Kursiv.media reported. The center will be able to train more than 1,000 schoolchildren.
The center is located at School No. 31. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor of Tashkent Durdona Rakhimova, Mirobod District Mayor Anvar Sayfutdinov, the district prosecutor, heads of the tax office and education department, and teachers.
At the center, students will learn robotics, physics, basics of artificial intelligence, modern technologies, and drones. Laboratories in physics, technology, and biology will also operate. The center will also serve as a professional development space for teachers.
