A new version of the Google Home and Gemini app has been released

Google has introduced a major update, aimed at adapting the Google Home app for Gemini for Home, reports Rozetked. The app's interface has become simpler and more convenient, integration with Nest has been improved, and updates based on natural language control and artificial intelligence have been added.

Now the app is divided into three main sections: Home, Activity, and Automations. Through a new conversational interface called "Ask Home," users can control devices in their home using natural language. For example, a user can ask "Who was in the room?" and artificial intelligence will answer this question. In addition, the new "Home Brief" function summarizes the main events of each day.

However, all new features, including "Ask Home" and "Home Brief," only work with a paid subscription (Home Premium), which starts at $10 per month (~121,000 so’m).
