Microsoft Copilot added humanoid avatars

Microsoft added human-like avatars to Copilot

Microsoft has added a new feature — “Portraits” — to its Copilot assistant in Windows 11, Rozetked reported. This feature is located in the Copilot Labs section and includes 40 stylized avatars.

Through avatars, Copilot “moves naturally” during real-time voice conversations, enabling more effective communication with the user. The update aims to make interaction with artificial intelligence more understandable and convenient for people.

According to Microsoft, each portrait is human-like but not photorealistic. It offers various visual appearances while retaining reliable Copilot features. For now, only users from the US, UK, and Canada can use this feature. Users must be over 18 years old to use the avatars.
