Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is ready to be unveiled

Samsung is ready to present its first Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone. According to South Korean media reports, this device will be showcased during the ATES summit to be held in Kenju on October 31 - November 1.

The model was previously shown as a teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025, but now a full presentation and a demonstration of the working device will be held.

For the Galaxy Z TriFold, a G-shaped mechanism and double-hinge configuration have been prepared. When fully unfolded, the device's screen diagonal measures 9.96 inches, and when closed, it is 6.5 inches.

Technically, the smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16 GB of RAM, and storage from 256 GB up to 1 TB. It runs on the Android 16 operating system with the One UI 8 interface.

As for the camera block, it is equipped with a 200 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens, offering 5x zoom capabilities. Additionally, it will be possible to use two 10 MP front cameras.

Regarding the battery, it is made of a new silicon-carbon material, which ensures high-quality battery performance and prevents overheating.

Production of the device is limited: the initial batches may be restricted to 50,000 units. Sales will start in South Korea and China, but delivery to other countries is not yet certain.

The price of each Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone may exceed $3000, making it a niche product for enthusiasts and new model followers.

Samsung is trying to successfully introduce this format to the market, and if the company can overcome production limits and the high price, TriFold could be an important step in the segment, indicating the future not only in concepts but also in actual sales.
