Samsung has continued its tradition of releasing special versions of its flagships for the Chinese market — the next member of the W line, the W26, has been unveiled. The model is essentially positioned as a local, premium-case version of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Technically, there are no major differences: the device retains a 6.5-inch outer and an 8-inch inner display, using the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy platform. The battery is also familiar — 4400 mAh — and the weight figures are almost unchanged.
The most noticeable update is the design. The W26 features a gold-colored frame and matching accents around the camera block. These details make the device look more luxurious and exclusive.
In short, the W26 is functionally a Z Fold 7, but a compact premium version crafted in a “luxury” fashion with the WDNA spirit for the Chinese audience.
