Apple increased its sales in China through the new iPhone 17 series. According to IDC (Information and Analysis Center), the company’s third-quarter shipments reached 10.8 million units, up 0.6% from the previous year.
Apple ranked second in the Chinese market with a 15.8% share. During this period, Huawei and Xiaomi saw a decline in sales, while Vivo maintained its lead.
Experts say the more affordable base model of the iPhone 17 was in demand due to its balance of price and quality, helping Apple outperform its rivals.
IDC’s report notes that market activity is expected to pick up in the final quarter of the year thanks to new model launches.
