Redmi K90 Max sets a record 4 hours after sales began

Xiaomi’s newly released Redmi K90 Max has shattered sales records, becoming the top-selling smartphone in the 3,000–4,000 yuan price range within just four hours of its launch. While the device officially starts at approximately $515, early-bird subsidies have lowered the entry price to around $470 across major online platforms. The smartphone distinguishes itself as the first in the Redmi lineup to include an internal cooling fan, supporting its high-performance Dimensity 9500 processor. Additionally, the K90 Max features a massive 8,550 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and holds an IP69 rating for extreme durability.
Xiaomi announced the first sales results of the Redmi K90 Max smartphone, presented yesterday. Just 4 hours after sales began, the device broke the annual record in the 3,000-4,000 yuan price segment across all online platforms and became the clear leader. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports.
The starting price of the new model is set at 3,499 yuan, or about $515. However, during the first sales period, a subsidy of 300 yuan applies to all versions, bringing the price down to $470.
Additional national subsidies are also available in some regions of China.
Redmi K90 Max became the first smartphone in the company's history to feature an internal cooling fan. The device is powered by a Dimensity 9500 processor and is equipped with an 8,550 mA/soat battery that supports 100-watt fast charging.
It is also protected to the IP69 standard.
