The Xuanjie O1 processor (Xring O1 in the international market), developed by Xiaomi, has sold more than 1 million units in a short period. This figure indicates a successful debut for the company in its own chip segment. Ixbt.com reports this.
The new chip is the first processor created in China based on 3-nanometer technology. 19 billion transistors are placed in an area of 109 square millimeters, which is a record result for the country's industry.
According to tests, the new development has outperformed the Snapdragon 8 Elite and even Apple A18 Pro models in terms of performance.
Xiaomi plans to implement this architecture across its entire ecosystem in the future. In particular, the new chips will be used in smartphones, tablets, wearable electronics, and electric vehicles.
The company is also working on a large artificial intelligence model and a unified operating system.
