The new system operates based on the «Vjux» service and uses Bluetooth technology to carry out transactions. This method allows users to perform contactless payments even in places where network connection is not available.
In the initial stage, offline payments were launched at «Sberbank» biometric terminals. By the end of the first half of 2026, this function is expected to appear at «T-bank» and «Alfa-bank» terminals as well.
The expansion of this infrastructure will significantly increase the service coverage.
According to statistical data, the demand for the Bluetooth payment system is high. To date, iPhone users have performed more than 45 million operations totaling 31 billion rubles.
The average purchase amount is approximately 670 rubles.
