Elon Musk testifies in court that he did not read OpenAI's commercial terms

Ilon Mask sudda OpenAI'ning tijoriy shartlarini o'qimagani haqida ko'rsatma berdi

During court questioning, Elon Musk stated that he was aware of initial discussions regarding transforming OpenAI into a commercial organization, but that Sam Altman had assured him the company would remain non-profit. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.

Musk has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, its co-founder Sam Altman, and President Greg Brockman, claiming that they received 38 million dollars from him under the promise of creating safe artificial intelligence, only to later transition into a commercial structure to increase their own wealth.

When asked by an OpenAI lawyer whether he had read the agreement sent by Altman on August 31, 2017, Musk replied: "I did not read the fine print, I only read the headline." Musk is demanding changes to the company's management and 150 billion dollars in damages.

OpenAI representatives attribute Musk's actions to a desire to control the company and jealousy over its success following his departure from the board of directors in 2018. It is also alleged that Musk is attempting to develop his own company, xAI.

In court, Musk confirmed that his company, xAI, uses OpenAI to train its models, emphasizing that this is standard practice.
