Dreame CEO unveils working prototype of modular smartphone

The founder and CEO of Dream Technology, Yu Hao, showcased a working prototype of a modular smartphone. The device features a white back panel with a circular camera module that can be easily attached and detached using magnetic contacts. While the front panel includes a selfie camera, the video did not reveal the screen in an active state, leaving other technical specifications unknown. Earlier this year, Dream Technology presented its modular devices at a conference in Southwestern Europe, and the new "Aurora" line, including the flagship "Aurora Nech LS1," aims to compete with major players like Apple and Samsung.

In January of this year, the Dreame team presented its series of modular devices at a dealer conference in Southwestern Europe. In March, insider Digital Chat Station reported that the Dreame Aurora would be a flagship device focused on mobile photography.
The detachable camera module is expected to have its own SoC, sensor, battery, and communication module. Connection is established via specialized contacts.
During a presentation held in Spain this week, Dreame showcased prototypes of its new Aurora line. The main highlight was the Aurora Nex LS1 flagship, which features an unconventional concept.
Previously, the company's head stated that they aim to surpass Apple and Samsung to lead the market.
