Intel Xeon processor disassembled with fire and a knife

The Hackinator YouTube channel has demonstrated an unconventional method for disassembling an Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processor. This was reported by Ixbt.com report.
The authors of the video first removed the integrated heat spreader. Subsequently, the die itself was extracted and treated with chemicals to reveal the silicon structure.

Instead of standard careful procedures, the creators used crude tools such as a knife, a screwdriver, a gas torch, and mounting screws.
As a result, the processor was completely destroyed. However, the primary goal was not to preserve its functionality, but to showcase its internal structure.

After removing the excess layers, the authors cleaned the die with a special paste and examined it under a high-powered microscope.
Despite the rough approach, the final images revealed the intricate and beautiful patterns of the silicon die.
