Intel Xeon processor disassembled with fire and a knife
In brief

A YouTube channel called Haskinator showcased an unconventional method of disassembling the Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processor. The process involved removing the heatsink and extracting the silicon die using crude tools like knives and gas torches, ultimately rendering the processor inoperable. However, the goal was not to preserve its functionality but to reveal its internal structure, which was later examined under a powerful microscope after cleaning the die with special paste. Despite the rough approach, the final images displayed the intricate and beautiful patterns of the silicon crystal.

The Hackinator YouTube channel has demonstrated an unconventional method for disassembling an Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processor. This was reported by Ixbt.com report.

The authors of the video first removed the integrated heat spreader. Subsequently, the die itself was extracted and treated with chemicals to reveal the silicon structure.
