Claude boosts power with SpaceX

Claude announced a significant increase in computing power through a new partnership with SpaceX. This collaboration gives Claude access to the full computing power of SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center, providing over 300 megawatts of new capacity, including access to more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs. This expansion is designed to improve the experience for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers. This is reported by Anthropic.com reports .
As a result of this increased power, Claude is doubling the five-hour usage limits for Claude Pro, Max, Team, and eligible Enterprise plans. Additionally, it has removed the peak hourly limit for Pro and Max accounts, and API limits for Claude Opus models have been significantly increased.
Claude continues to explore opportunities to expand computing power, including potential developments with SpaceX for orbital AI computing. The company is also focusing on new partnerships in Asia and Europe to meet compliance and data residency requirements for enterprise clients in regulated industries.
Furthermore, Claude is committed to offsetting the rise in consumer electricity prices caused by its US data centers and is exploring similar commitments internationally. The company is releasing new plugins and integrations with the Microsoft 365 suite to improve its services.
