Apple continues partnership with Samsung and LG for iPhone 18 Pro displays

Apple plans to finalize the approval process for OLED panels for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models this month. According to The Elec, Samsung Display and LG Display will remain the primary screen suppliers. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Although China's BOE received a portion of orders for the iPhone 17 Pro line, it may be excluded from the contract for the new generation of smartphones. Sources indicate the company has faced quality issues and low yields in producing screens based on LTPO+ technology.
LTPO+ technology will be one of the key innovations of the iPhone 18 Pro series. This technology provides higher energy efficiency compared to the standard LTPO displays used in current iPhone 17 models. Apple aims to reduce power consumption and increase battery life by precisely controlling OLED panels.
Additionally, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature a more compact Dynamic Island and a redesigned front camera module. According to insiders, Apple has pre-planned the release of the standard iPhone 18 model, taking market strategy into account.
