The popular dating app Bumble has decided to remove its core feature, the "swipe". According to CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd, this change will be a revolutionary step in the dating industry and offer a new experience for users. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .

This decision comes at a time when Bumble is facing financial difficulties. In the first quarter of this year, the number of paid users of the app decreased by 21 percent to 3.2 million. The company's management calls this decline a deliberate reboot aimed at making the user base "higher quality."

Future changes are expected to be based on artificial intelligence technologies. Bumble is already working on an AI assistant named "Bee". Wolfe Herd does not rule out that in the future, personal AI bots may communicate with other bots on behalf of users.

The updated version of the app is scheduled to be released in the last quarter of this year. Until then, users can continue to use the usual "swipe" feature in the dating process.
