China to fully upgrade spacesuits on Tiangong station

China will complete the full upgrade of spacesuits on its Tiangong orbital station following the launch of the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft. As part of this mission, a third modernized spacesuit will be delivered to the station, complementing the two sets previously sent via the Tianzhou-9 vessel. The Long March 7 rocket is already installed at the launch site in Hainan province, with specialists conducting final technical checks. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
Tianzhou-10 will carry approximately 6.3 tons of cargo into orbit. The payload includes life support equipment for the crew, maintenance materials for the station, fuel, and scientific apparatus. Notable items include a new treadmill and six scientific experimental devices with a total weight of 280 kilograms. They are designed to test fluid physics and promising space technologies in microgravity conditions.
According to Chinese media, this mission will be the flight carrying the most scientific cargo since the construction of the Tiangong station began. Perishable goods and biological samples will be loaded shortly before launch. The Shenzhou-21 crew has completed manual docking drills to prepare for potential emergencies during the arrival of the new cargo ship.
China continues to expand the capabilities of the Tiangong station. This platform will become the primary base for scientific research and astronaut training for future crewed missions into deep space.
