Moscow Exchange launches futures for Solana, Ripple and Tron indices

Starting May 14, 2026, the Moscow Exchange will introduce three new futures contracts for Solana, Ripple, and Tron digital currency indices. These financial instruments are calculated by the exchange itself and will be available exclusively to qualified investors. Settlements for the contracts will be made in Russian rubles. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

Maria Patrikeyeva, Managing Director of the Derivatives Market at the Moscow Exchange, noted that the launch of futures on these indices is a logical step in developing the digital assets segment. According to her, the exchange allows Russian investors to gain exposure to major cryptocurrencies without accessing foreign platforms or assuming infrastructure risks.

The contracts have a one-month maturity, with the last trading day falling on the last Friday of each month. The settlement price is determined by the average value of the corresponding index between 17:00 and 18:00 Moscow time on the last trading day.

From May 14, contracts expiring in June, July, and August 2026 will be available to investors. As a reminder, the exchange already offers futures trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum indices.
