Huawei and Midea introduce the first smart air conditioners based on HarmonyOS

In China, Huawei and Midea have partnered to launch the world's first smart air conditioners powered by the HarmonyOS operating system. The new Midea Air Conditioner Pro and Midea All-in-One Wind Pro models have been released in the Chinese market at prices of 5399 and 7699 yuan, respectively. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

The main advantage of the Midea Air Conditioner Pro is its deep integration with the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Huawei representative Yu Chengdong announced that the companies plan to further expand their cooperation in the fields of chips, operating systems, and smart home technologies.

Midea engineers have paid special attention to indoor air quality. The air conditioner is equipped with a "Dual 37" system, which provides an air exchange of over 37 cubic meters per hour at a noise level below 37 dB. The built-in CO2 sensor monitors carbon dioxide levels in real time, keeping them below 1000 ppm even when windows are closed.

During the presentation, in addition to the air conditioners, the Meipont Wind God Eye True Fresh Air System and Floor Standing Air System were also showcased. These devices are currently available for purchase in HarmonyOS Smart Home stores and Huawei-branded home appliance sections.
