New Skills feature launched in xAI's Grok chatbot

Elon Musk's xAI company has introduced a new "Skills" feature in its AI-powered Grok chatbot. This innovation allows users to create personal "skills" or automated scenarios that can be reused in various interactions. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .

With the new feature, users can build tools that perform tasks such as editing files, running code, and interacting with external services like Gmail, GitHub, or Notion. Ready-made scenarios can be triggered via simple commands or imported from other AI tools.

Grok is evolving from a simple chatbot into a flexible workspace with a layer of persistent "mini-apps." The previously introduced Grok Computer feature, which gives the system full access to the computer file system and command line, has significantly increased the AI's ability to perform real-world tasks.

Additionally, xAI has officially released its Grok 4.3 model and made the new Grok Imagine Quality Mode for image generation available via API. As a reminder, Elon Musk recently announced that xAI and SpaceX would merge to operate under the name SpaceXAI.
