According to the user, the device was not charging and had not suffered any external damage or undergone repairs. The smartphone first swelled, then the bottom part burst open with a loud noise. As a result of the explosion, the device hit the owner's chin and fell to the ground.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene noted signs of a lithium-ion battery fire. The victim sustained minor burns and experienced health issues due to smoke inhalation.

Samsung contacted the user through a local service center and expressed a desire to take the device for internal investigation. The victim stated they are not seeking compensation, only wanting to know the exact cause of the malfunction.

The causes of the fire are currently unknown. Samsung specialists need to determine if this incident is related to a battery defect or another technical failure.
