Xiaomi has almost completed the global rollout of its new HyperOS 3.1 operating system. Based on Android 16, this update has already reached over 85 percent of compatible devices from the Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco brands. Currently, all devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem running Android 16 have been updated. The remaining 17 models that have not yet received the update are primarily budget and mid-range smartphones. Their update process is scheduled for the final stage following optimization and regional adjustments.

HyperOS 3.1 features significant changes to the interface and core functions. Specifically, Xiaomi has redesigned the HyperIsland dynamic notification system, expanded multitasking capabilities, and improved the HyperConnect platform. This platform further accelerates synchronization and file sharing between smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices.
