Recursive Superintelligence startup raises $650 million for self-improving AI

You.com founder and renowned researcher Richard Socher has launched a new AI startup, Recursive Superintelligence. The project aims to create systems capable of restructuring their own architecture, identifying vulnerabilities, and improving without human intervention. The company has raised $650 million for these goals. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
Socher emphasizes that the project's main goal is to fully automate the scientific research cycle. This includes generating hypotheses, executing them, and verifying results. The system is designed to continuously adapt, similar to biological evolution, to find new methods of development.
The startup team includes experienced professionals from leading companies such as Google DeepMind and OpenAI. Among them are well-known AI researchers like Tim Rocktäschel and Josh Tobin. The team is using a method of developing the system through the mutual competition of two models.
Recursive Superintelligence is not limited to fundamental research and plans to bring real products to market soon. According to Socher, the first commercial solutions could be presented in the coming months. In the future, the main constraint for such systems is expected to be computing power rather than human labor.
