New fraud scheme identified via Google AppSheet

Experts from Kaspersky have identified a new fraud scheme carried out using the Google AppSheet platform. Criminals are posing as major companies, sending mass emails to users with attractive job offers. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Users receive emails via the official noreply@appsheet.com service address and are asked to provide personal information. The capabilities of the Google AppSheet platform help fraudsters bypass spam filters and gain user trust.
In some cases, fraudsters do not even use phishing links, simply asking for a reply email. AppSheet allows sending not only emails but also SMS messages, further expanding the scale of cyberattacks.
Anna Lazaricheva, a senior spam analyst at Kaspersky, recommends carefully checking even messages from trusted addresses. It is always necessary to be cautious regarding unexpected job offers and messages requesting personal information.
