Honor Robot Phone flagship: 200 MP cameras and 7060 mA·ch battery

Honor is preparing to unveil a new flagship in the mobile market—the Honor Robot Phone smartphone, combining distinctive design with advanced technology. With only a few days remaining before the official launch, insider Digital Chat Station has revealed all the key specifications of the upcoming device, according to ixbt.com. According to the insider, the new smartphone will feature a 6.3-inch flat display with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. The screen will offer a peak brightness of 6800 nits and a special anti-glare coating for excellent readability even in direct sunlight. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor, delivering high performance.

Capabilities and technical specifications

One of the smartphone’s most impressive features is its battery. Despite its compact body, it houses a massive 7060 mA·ch battery that supports 120 W charging. The device will also feature three proprietary chips: C1 for improved connectivity, E2 for optimizing energy efficiency, and H1 for image processing.

Honor has also made significant progress in optical capabilities. The gadget will feature two 200 MP camera modules. The main module will use a sensor with a 1/1.28-inch optical format, an F/1.6 lens, and a 23 mm equivalent focal length. The second module, equipped with a periscope lens, will feature a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an F/2.6 lens providing 2.7x optical zoom.

Future partnership and launch

To further enhance the device’s photography capabilities, Honor has established a strategic partnership with ArcSoft, a leader in computational photography. ArcSoft algorithms are expected to be used throughout the entire process, from capturing images to producing the final result.

The Honor Robot Phone is officially scheduled to launch on August 12, with the smartphone set to be available in at least silver and gray. Notably, according to the company, pre-orders for this model have set an absolute record in the brand’s history, surpassing all previous Honor devices.
