Rostec developed bulletproof and frost-resistant batteries

Russia's Rostec state corporation has developed new bulletproof and cold-resistant batteries, as reported by Ixbt.com. Created in collaboration with the RT-Project Technologies holding, these batteries can be installed in any conditions and are designed to power heavy military vehicle engines, command posts, and communication networks. The batteries utilize a special glass fiber sponge to contain the electrolyte, preventing leaks even if the casing is damaged. According to Rostec, these products are already being used in maritime infrastructure and have received a special certification for operation in harsh conditions.
Specialists from Russia's "Rostex" state corporation have created new batteries resistant to bullet hits and extreme cold. Ixbt.com reports this.
Developed with the participation of the "RT-Proyektniye texnologii" holding, these import-substituting power sources can be installed in any position. Such batteries are designed to start the engines of heavy military equipment, as well as to power command posts and communication networks.
The new batteries do not contain liquid electrolyte; it is absorbed into special fiberglass sponges. Consequently, even if the casing is punctured, the electrolyte does not leak out, and the device continues to function.
According to "Rostex", this product is already being used at maritime infrastructure facilities. The device holds a special certificate confirming its readiness for operation in the harsh conditions of the fleet.
