Walmart launches six Android 14 tablets for the price of one iPad Pro

American retail giant Walmart has launched a line of ultra-affordable tablets running on the Android 14 operating system under its Onn sub-brand. The highlight of the presentation was the aggressive pricing strategy: the total cost of all six new devices is cheaper than a single flagship iPad Pro. As noted by 9to5Google, five out of the six gadgets are priced under $200. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

The most affordable device in the lineup is the Onn Core 7, priced at just $97. For this amount, the buyer gets a 7-inch IPS LCD display, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. The device's memory can be expanded using a microSD card. The manufacturer claims that this compact gadget can run for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

Larger models in the standard series—the Onn Core 8.1 ($138) and Onn Core 11 ($167)—were also introduced. The 11-inch model is close in size to the base iPad and is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The brand also released special 8-inch and 11-inch versions for children, priced at $118 and $136, respectively.

The flagship of the new collection is the Onn Pro tablet, which has a retail price of $288. The device is equipped with a 13.2-inch IPS LCD screen, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage. The gadget runs on an octa-core processor from MediaTek with a clock speed of 2.6 GHz. Unlike the iPad Pro, this device comes with a protective case and a stylus included for free.
