Uzbekistan’s Most Expensive License Plate Sold for 965.3M UZS!

In 2024, Uzbekistan’s most expensive license plate was auctioned for 965.3 million UZS, according to the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzRТСB).

From January to December, Uzbek citizens purchased over 195,000 “beautiful” license plates. Compared to 2023, interest in such plates doubled, and total sales volume grew by 43.6%, reaching 569 billion UZS.

- 97% of the plates were bought by individuals, while 3% were purchased by companies.
- The lowest auctioned price was 1.7 million UZS.
- The online auction platform for selling license plates has been active since 2017.
