The meeting sharply criticized the long-standing delay in introducing medical insurance. This system was supposed to be launched in Tashkent last year, and in Karakalpakstan, Navoi, Samarkand, Fergana, Surkhandarya and Khorezm this year. It was pointed out that the Insurance Fund has become only a distributor of ready money.
"No matter how correct our reforms are, if the system is not digitized, we will not achieve the expected results," the President said.
However, the authorities were criticized for not being able to fully digitize the system, let alone implement a simple "electronic prescription." There are also serious shortcomings in the introduction of the "electronic polyclinic" and "electronic hospital."
"If the heads of ministries change their worldview, do not have self-sacrifice, do not feel responsible, and do not increase demand, the reforms will not reach the mahalla," the head of state said.
Therefore, for the shortcomings and mistakes made, the Deputy Ministers of Health D. Sultanov and F. Sharipov were dismissed from their posts, and Deputy Minister O. Omonov was warned that if he does not make changes to the digitization within 6 months, he will be dismissed.
