An urgent weather report has been issued
According to the information provided by the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, due to the expected rainfall on May 17-19 of this year, in the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic, including:

- Kashkadarya region: Yakkabag, Dehkanabad, Chirakchi, Kitab, Shakhrisabz, Kamashi, Guzar districts;

- Surkhandarya region: Sariosiyo, Uzun, Oltinsoy, Denov, Boysun, Sherabod, Shorchi, Kumkurgan, Muzrabod districts;

- Samarkand region: Urgut, Samarkand, Bulungur, Nurabad, Kushrabot, Kattakurgan, Payarik, Jamboy, Ishtikhan districts;

- Navoi region: Khatirchi, Navbahor, Nurota, Konimekh, Karmana districts;

- Jizzakh region: in the districts of Zomin, Bakhmal, Gallaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish, Yangiabad;

- Tashkent region: in the districts of Ahangaran, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Piskent, Ortachirchik, Yukarichirchik and the cities of Angren and Almalyk;

- Namangan region: in the districts of Pop, Kosansoy, Chortok, Chust, Namangan, Yangikurgan;

- Fergana region: in the districts of Sokh, Shohimardon, Fergana, Besharik;

- Andijan region: in the districts of Andijan, Asaka, Zhalakuduk, Kurgantepa, Pakhtaabad, Izboskan, Khojaabad, Markhamat and the city of Honabad.

"We ask citizens living in foothills and mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling in mountainous areas to take precautionary measures," the report says.

There is a possibility of rainwater accumulation across the republic, which may lead to flooding of areas.
