Uzbek truck passes through 4 countries in 8 days
Uzbekistan has taken another significant step in the field of international freight transport: for the first time, a cargo truck reached its destination via the Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan–China–Mongolia route. This trial shipment demonstrated not only transport capacity but also the rising level of regional cooperation.

According to available data, this shipment was organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The goal was to open new market opportunities for entrepreneurs and deliver products efficiently via international logistics. Notably, the shipment passed through the challenging terrain of the Altai Mountains, historically and geographically considered difficult. Though some parts of the route are located at 1500 meters above sea level, the trial was successful.

The Uzbek national carrier completed the 4500 km route in just 8 days. This, in turn, indicates the competitiveness and potential economic viability of the new corridor.

Today, the global logistics and cargo transport sectors are rapidly developing. In such a context, Uzbekistan’s geostrategic position — at the crossroads of trade routes — gives it significant advantages. It is expected that this new corridor will positively impact the economy, logistics infrastructure, vehicle fleets, border services, and digitization processes.

In addition, this project aims to further strengthen trade relations between Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Mongolia, increase the volume of goods exchanged, and create a favorable logistics environment for businesses.

Experts believe that the successful trial shipment means regular cargo deliveries will begin along this route in the near future. Export opportunities for agricultural products, textiles, food, and industrial goods to China and Mongolia will expand significantly.

For entrepreneurs and logistics companies, this may open new opportunities. The experience gained will help develop plans to improve road safety, streamline customs clearance, and enhance border infrastructure.

In conclusion, Uzbekistan has successfully tested a new international logistics route. This step not only boosts the national economy but also helps establish a vital transport and trade corridor for the entire Central Asian region. In the future, this corridor could become a key bridge connecting China to European markets.
