The demand for agricultural products grown in Uzbekistan is steadily increasing in international markets. In the first five months of 2025, the volume of exports from our country to the United Kingdom doubled.
In particular, Uzbek melon exports to British markets have recently been launched. In the first ten days of this July, 10 tons of melons were delivered to London via "Uzbekistan Airways" on the Tashkent–London route. These melons, known for their unique taste, have sparked great interest among British consumers.
In addition, this year has seen increased exports of legumes, dried fruits, and various nuts — including raisins, cherries, chickpeas, mung beans, grapes, and apricot kernels. Today, Uzbek products are being sold in leading retail chains across the United Kingdom.
Experts note that this trend reflects the growing attention to the agro-industrial sector, the compliance of products with international quality standards, and the improvement of logistics routes. As a result, our national products continue to gain a solid position in the global market. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
