
Today, an earthquake occurred in Bukhara region. According to the information from the Republican Seismological Service, at 04:07 local time, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred in Jondor district.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km, and its impact was felt not only in Jondor but also in surrounding areas:
- In Peshku district — with a force of around 2–3 points, at a distance of 39 km;
- In the city of Gazli — 2 points, 51 km away;
- In Karakul district — 2 points, at a distance of 73 km.
Officials report that no damage or casualties were recorded as a result of the earthquake. At the moment, seismologists are analyzing the underground movements and assessing the likelihood of such events recurring.
