In the second quarter of 2025, tariffs for domestic freight transportation in Uzbekistan rose by 37% year-on-year, reported Kursiv citing the ATI International Freight Exchange.
ATI analysts note a significant uptick in domestic logistics activity, with shipment requests across the country increasing by 73% compared to the same period last year.
The trend is confirmed by national statistics: in the first five months of 2025, Uzbekistan’s transport services market grew by 14%, reaching 70.7 trillion soums.
Export transportation tariffs remained unchanged from last year. However, international shipment requests rose by 89% over the quarter — with Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus showing the most growth.
Import shipping requests increased by 34% year-on-year but declined by 15% compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, carrier tariffs remained stable.
