An International Gemological Center to Open in Tashkent: New Opportunities

Another important step has been taken in our country for the investment climate and industry development, reports dunyo.info. On the initiative of the country's embassy, an official agreement was signed between Israel's prestigious GCI Gemological Centers Ltd. and Uzbekistan's LLC Expert One to establish the GCI Gemological Centers Uzbekistan gemological center.

The new center will start operating in Tashkent, providing professional expertise services for precious and semi-precious stones, certifying them according to GCI international standards, and implementing modern educational programs in gemology. Through this, the training of qualified personnel in the gemological field will become possible in our country, and market participants will have broad access to internationally recognized certificates.

GCI Gemological Centers Ltd. CEO Yehuda Yakar, commenting on this initiative, acknowledged the large-scale reforms, positive changes in the investment environment, and the attention given to human capital in Uzbekistan. According to company representatives, this project is being implemented due to the country's stable development and strengthening international trust.

It was also noted that Nargiza Kodirova, head of the "Yangi O‘zbekiston" Trade-Investment House in Israel, played an active role in organizing the center. Established in August 2024 with diplomatic support, this house has contributed significantly to major trade-economic and investment projects.

GCI Gemological Centers Ltd. is one of Israel’s most reputable gemological centers, recognized worldwide. The company offers a wide range of services in evaluating authenticity, certification of precious and semi-precious stones, as well as knowledge and skills development in this field.

The opening of the new center is seen as an important step for implementing international standards and modern innovations in Uzbekistan’s gemology market, as well as for enhancing transparency and trust in the sector. The special certification system will open new opportunities for local market participants and entrepreneurs.

In the future, the center’s activities are expected to be a source of new knowledge and skills not only for market participants but also for young people studying gemology. This will provide another major boost to the development of the industry and integration into international markets in our country.
