In recent days, various media outlets have been reporting that Uzbekistan Airways has suffered a data leak. However, the airline has issued an official statement, strongly denying that these claims are completely untrue.
According to the airline, all of its information systems and infrastructure are currently operating in full working order. “Some media outlets presented examples supposedly proving a data leak. However, they are by no means reliable and do not correspond to reality. Moreover, the mentioned data has no relation to our information systems at all,” the official statement said.
Uzbekistan Airways emphasized that some of the circulated data may have been artificially created or edited to deliberately mislead the public into thinking an incident had occurred. At the same time, the company firmly stated: “We did not experience any data leak.”
Despite these claims, a service inspection was still carried out within the company’s system according to regulations. The results will be used to further strengthen protective and security measures.
Thus, the airline not only clarified the situation but also reassured the public about the security of its systems. Experts believe that such groundless reports may have been intended to damage the company’s reputation, but the official statement has put an end to such doubts.
