Entrepreneurship and financial literacy to be taught in schools

Minister of Preschool and School Education Ezoza Karimova held a meeting with Ildar Tazutdinov, Deputy Director General of Alabuga JSC in the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting, issues of preparing Uzbek schoolchildren for a professional career and providing them with practical knowledge were discussed.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding to further develop cooperation. This document provides for the implementation of joint programs in the direction of preparing young students for a career and expanding their economic thinking.

According to the planned program, schoolchildren in Surkhandarya, Khorezm and Jizzakh regions will participate in special training courses on entrepreneurship and financial literacy based on the “Business Cats” computer economic strategy. This will allow young people to learn practical skills that will be necessary in their future activities.

In this way, the cooperation of the Ministry and the "Alabuga" organization strengthens not only theoretical knowledge of students, but also their ability to understand modern economic processes.
