Rules for admission to bachelor's programs have been re-established for applicants

By a government decree, the regulation "On the Procedure for Admission to Bachelor's Degree Studies in Higher Educational Institutions" has been officially approved. The new document clearly defined how the admission process for applicants will proceed and in what form the exams will be held.

According to the Regulation, admission to higher educational institutions is carried out on the following grounds. First of all, on the basis of a state grant and an educational grant in the bachelor's degree programs defined by Presidential decrees. Also, based on the general admission parameters approved by the State Commission for Admission to Educational Organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Entrance exams will consist of two main sections. In the first section, test examinations will be conducted in compulsory subjects for all areas. These are the native language, mathematics, and the history of Uzbekistan. In the second section, tests are organized in subjects related to the applicant's chosen field of study, or professional, including creative, exams specific to those fields. Through this, the applicant's level of knowledge and readiness for the chosen direction are assessed.

The admission process is carried out in two stages. The first stage will last from June 5 to 25. During this time, applicants will determine which subjects they will take the test, the language of instruction, and the region where the test will be conducted. The second stage will last 15 days after the completion of the test. In this process, they choose a higher educational institution, a bachelor's degree program, a form of education, and a priority of choice.

The exam results will also be announced in stages. The applicant's scores will be announced the day after the test. Whether he has been recommended for admission or not will be announced to the public within a week after the completion of the second stage through the official website of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.

The new admission regulation establishes clear and transparent rules for applicants and is aimed at ensuring that each young person gets an opportunity based on their abilities and preparation. This is considered the next step in reforming the higher education system.
