Impertinent photographers are ruining Tashkent

The number of complaints about unruly photographers in shopping and entertainment centers in Tashkent has sharply increased, writes UPL.
For example, at High Town Mall, photographers take pictures of children without permission and offer parents to buy magnets or photo circles. Some of them literally follow children around the playground and immediately force their services upon leaving.
A UPL correspondent conducted an experiment - bought two magnets with photos of his children for 60,000 soums each. Later, another photographer said that orders had been placed for 100,000 soum circles for children. Such aggressive commerce causes public discontent and may spoil the impression for tourists.
A regulatory legal document is planned to be introduced in Uzbekistan that will require photographers to obtain permission to take photos of citizens and children. Apparently, it would help curb arbitrariness.
