In Uzbekistan, the income level of the population is experiencing a significant increase. According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, the average monthly nominal wage in the republic amounted to 6 million 166.9 thousand soums, which is 19.2% more than in the same period last year.

In terms of regions, Tashkent city traditionally leads - the average monthly salary here has reached 10 million 379.6 thousand soums. This figure is 18.7% higher than in 2024.

A sharp increase in wages was also observed in a number of regions. In particular, the average salary in the Samarkand region amounted to 4 million 853.3 thousand soums, and the growth rate reached 124.8 percent. In Namangan, this figure was 4 million 543.8 thousand soums (120.9%), in Syrdarya - 4 million 930.8 thousand soums (120.7%), in Fergana - 4 million 574.5 thousand soums (119.8%), and in Jizzakh - 4 million 589 thousand soums (119.2%).

According to the analysis by type of economic activity, the most rapid growth was recorded in the sphere of entertainment and recreation. The salary in this direction reached 5 million 114.7 thousand soums, which is 22.8% more than last year.

Positive dynamics were also observed in the field of education - the average salary in this area reached 4 million 188.5 thousand soums, the growth was 19.8%.

At the same time, wages in the field of transport and logistics amounted to 9 million 382.1 thousand soums, an increase of 16.7 percent. The information and communication sector took the top spot with 14 million 985.8 thousand soums - the growth here was 16.6%. Wages in industry amounted to 7 million 301 thousand soums, with a 16.3 percent increase.

In the construction sector, wages reached 6 million 342.6 thousand soums (an increase of 9.2%), in trade - 6 million 875.6 thousand soums (12.1%), in accommodation and food services - 5 million 122.8 thousand soums (10.1%), in healthcare and social services - 3 million 765.4 thousand soums (14.6%).

The highest indicator was recorded in the banking, insurance, and credit sectors - the average salary was 16 million 828.9 thousand soums, an increase of 15.6%.

According to experts, such an increase in wages is a sign of economic stability, production activity, and the creation of new jobs in the country. At the same time, the differences in the sectoral context also indicate the different development of the regional economic potential and investment climate.
