What is the average age of tourists coming to Uzbekistan?
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, in the first three quarters of 2025, the majority of foreign visitors to Uzbekistan were middle-aged people. From January to September, approximately 8.6 million foreign citizens visited the country.

The largest group among the tourists was those aged 31 to 55. Their number reached 4.3 million, which is half of all visitors.

This group is notable for being economically active and showing interest in cultural and historical heritage, which aligns with Uzbekistan's tourism offerings. The second largest group was tourists aged over 56.

Their number was 1.7 million during the reporting period. This figure indicates that the country's attractiveness is increasing even among an older audience.

Next were young people aged 19 to 30: 1.4 million tourists chose Uzbekistan as a travel destination. The smallest group consisted of children and teenagers under 18, numbering 1.15 million.

This figure demonstrates the development of family tourism in the country. In terms of gender distribution, the number of men prevails.

Within nine months, 4.64 million men and 3.92 million women visited the country. Overall, there is a growing international interest in Uzbekistan.

In recent years, "pilgrimage tourism" has been actively developing in Uzbekistan. Sacred places such as the Imam al-Bukhari mausoleum in Samarkand and the Bahouddin Naqshband complex in Bukhara attract thousands of believers from Southeast Asian countries to Uzbekistan.
