According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport, special preventive raids are being conducted in Sirdarya region to ensure compliance with truck size and weight standards. These activities are being carried out by officers of the Traffic Safety Department and the Transport Control Inspection.
During the raids, trucks are being thoroughly inspected, with particular attention paid to whether the loads meet standard size and weight requirements. Drivers are required to pass their trucks over special vehicle scales to accurately measure the weight of the transported cargo.
If the cargo weight exceeds the established limits, administrative reports are being drawn up against the drivers. These preventive measures are being implemented in order to ensure road safety, maintain the stability of the road surface, and prolong its service life.
