According to the press service of the Tashkent region Department of Internal Affairs Road Safety Department, a “Onix” car was stopped and checked by traffic officers in the Yukorichirchiq district of the Tashkent region. This inspection was carried out as part of the "Healthy Generation — Safe Society" operational-preventive measures.
During the inspection, it was revealed that two citizens in the vehicle were engaged in transporting potent psychotropic drugs. The relevant documents were drawn up at the scene, and the drugs were sent for examination.
Based on the results of the examination, a legal assessment will be given to the citizens’ actions. They may be held responsible in accordance with the article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Illegal trafficking and sale of potent substances or psychotropic substances".
