In October in Uzbekistan, the consumer market recorded moderate price growth, but significant changes were observed in the prices of some products, especially vegetables and fruits. While overall monthly inflation remained at 0.6%, annual inflation decreased to 7.8%.

This indicates a certain stabilization of economic processes. The sharpest price change was observed in the vegetable segment.

This price growth, which is linked to seasonal factors, had a serious impact on household budgets. Furthermore, the price of eggplants increased by 11.3%.

Among essential food products, egg prices rose by more than 4%. Meat products continued to rise: bone-in beef increased by 1.7%, boneless beef and lamb both rose by 1.6%.

In the service sector, the monthly price increase amounted to 0.3%, but on an annual basis, this growth reached 14.4%. In some regions, tariffs for household waste collection, hot water supply, and heating services were raised (+4.3%).

Automobile fuel prices continued to rise: gasoline prices increased by 1.5%. Fuel prices varied widely depending on the type, reaching 8,400 soums per liter for AI-80 gasoline and up to 20,500 soums for AI-100 gasoline.
