The National Statistical Committee presented an updated report on per capita income in Uzbekistan. According to the data, as of January-September 2025, the total income of the population amounted to 825.3 trillion soums. This is 8.4% more compared to the same period last year, taking into account inflation.
The report notes that per capita financial revenues across the country reached an average of 21.8 million soums. The nominal growth rate was 116.1%, while the real growth was 106.3%. This indicates an increase in material opportunities among certain segments of the population.
In terms of regions, the highest income fell on the city of Tashkent - the per capita income of the capital's residents amounted to 52 million soums. With this indicator, Tashkent is the absolute leader in the country. Navoi region is in second place with 32.1 million soums, and Bukhara region is in third with 26 million soums.
In the remaining regions, the indicators are distributed as follows:
Khorezm region - 22.8 million soums;
Tashkent region - 21.9 million soums;
- Andijan region - 19.4 million soums;
- Fergana region - 18.5 million soums;
- Samarkand region - 18.1 million soums;
- Syrdarya region - 17.2 million soums;
- Jizzakh region - 17.1 million soums;
- Kashkadarya region - 17 million soums;
- Surkhandarya region - 16.5 million soums;
-Namangan region - 15.8 million soums;
- Republic of Karakalpakstan - 14.8 million soums.
Thus, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, per capita financial income remains the lowest. Experts explain this situation by the low level of wages in the region and the connection of economic activity with limited spheres.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that 73,000 families previously considered unemployed in the country were provided with jobs. More than 600 thousand families received social assistance and services through the "Inson" centers.
According to economists, the growth of household incomes is associated with increased activity in the spheres of small business, services, and industry in recent years and has a positive impact on the state's economic reforms.
