
On December 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the meeting of the intergovernmental commission. At the meeting, leading Russian companies presented new projects to be implemented in Uzbekistan in the IT, energy, and a number of industrial sectors.

The leaders of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod and Omsk regions, Bashkortostan, and Krasnoyarsk Krai also participated in the dialogue. At the beginning of the conversation, Denis Manturov conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from Russian President Vladimir Putin to the head of state.

The parties reviewed the implementation of the "roadmap" adopted following the high-level meetings. The steady growth in trade volumes and the implementation of joint projects in industry, energy, transport, metallurgy, chemistry, and other sectors were noted with satisfaction.

The importance of taking coordinated measures to maintain the dynamics of trade turnover, accelerate cooperation projects within industrial zones, and strengthen ties at the regional and business levels was emphasized.
Within the framework of the meeting, the heads of leading Russian companies presented to the President specific plans for projects planned for implementation in the information technology, energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, and food industries.

It was emphasized that the results of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and business events held in Tashkent will serve to bring Uzbek-Russian economic cooperation to a new level.
