
Today, on December 6, the eastern regions of Uzbekistan were once again disturbed by an earthquake. According to the Seismoprognostic Monitoring Center, the tremor was recorded at 19:18.
The epicenter was again the Pap district of Namangan region, where the intensity reached 4 points. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.4 and a depth of 11 kilometers. The epicenter is located 133 km southeast of Tashkent.
The degrees of shaking felt in the regions were as follows:
— In Pap district — around 2–3 points
— In Dangara district of Fergana region — 2 points
Experts urge the population to remain alert, as a decrease in ongoing seismic activity is expected in the coming days.
