On December 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on measures to combat corruption, develop the system for monitoring compliance with laws, and digitalize the sector. It was noted that corruption seriously harms development, making its prevention an important state policy direction.
Recently, internal control in government agencies has been strengthened, major financial errors identified, and unnecessary expenditures prevented. Measures of accountability against officials were also applied.
The presentation highlighted the importance of digitalization in preventing corruption. Plans were shown for creating a risk analysis center, integrating databases, and increasing transparency in public procurement.
At the end of the meeting, officials were given clear instructions to strengthen public oversight in combating corruption, expand preventive measures, and prevent economic violations.
