Some streets in Tashkent will be closed due to New Year's events

In Tashkent, in preparation for the New Year celebrations and to ensure their high-level organization, traffic will be restricted on certain streets. According to the city administration, from December 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, traffic changes will be introduced on streets near the National Library of Uzbekistan, as well as on sections of Zarafshan, Istiklol, and Buyuk Turon streets.

Additionally, from December 17 to January 5, traffic restrictions will be imposed on Taras Shevchenko Street. Therefore, drivers are advised to reconsider their routes and plan their movement in accordance with the changes. During the holiday events, special attention will be given to ensuring public safety and maintaining public order.
