Uzhydromet has released the nationwide weather forecast for December 17. According to the information, weather conditions will be variable across most regions, with rain expected in some areas.
In the city of Tashkent, intermittent rain is expected throughout the day. The wind will be from the west at a speed of 3–8 m/s. Air temperatures will range from 3–5°C at night to around 5–7°C during the day.
No precipitation is expected in Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, although fog may occur in some areas. Nighttime temperatures will be colder, with temperatures on the Ustyurt Plateau dropping to 12–14°C below zero. During the day, temperatures will be around 0–5°C.
In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, precipitation is also not forecast. Fog may form in certain areas, with easterly winds of 9–14 m/s. Temperatures will be 0–5°C at night and 5–10°C during the day.
Rain and fog are possible in the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions. Daytime temperatures will remain between 2–7°C.
Rain is also expected in the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, where daytime temperatures will rise to 8–13°C.
In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, variable weather will persist with a chance of rain. Westerly winds will blow at 5–10 m/s.
In mountainous areas, precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected, with heavy falls in some locations. There remains a risk of snow avalanches in the mountainous areas of the Tashkent and Namangan regions.
Meteorologists urge the public, especially drivers and those traveling to mountainous areas, to exercise caution.
