Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds talks with Aliyev and Orban in Davos

On the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the “Peace Council” Charter taking place in Davos, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. During the talks, the sides discussed expanding mutually beneficial ties and enriching practical cooperation with new areas.
Focus placed on expanding mutual cooperation
The leaders exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and opportunities to further strengthen them. It was noted that it is important to continue cooperation through practical projects, new initiatives, and a spirit of mutual support.
Prospects within the Organization of Turkic States discussed
The dialogue paid special attention to multilateral cooperation, in particular the prospects for developing ties within the Organization of Turkic States. The sides discussed stepping up cooperation on this platform, coordinating initiatives, and advancing areas that serve common interests.
